Tropical Storm Idalia is increasing in speed as it crosses the gulf, and is forecast to become a hurricane before it makes landfall. Winds are forecast to pick up on land in the early Tuesday hours, with the hurricane arriving on shore in the early Wednesday hours. The storm forecast moved a bit east over the last 24 hours, so if that continues, it may move the path of the storm out of the PCB area. But even if the storm moves east, we can expwect heavy winds, rain, and storm surge.
