Hurricane Francine continues to move through the Gulf of Mexico, and is traveling around 12 mph with wind speeds around 90 mph. She is expected to make landfall on the Louisiana coastline, but there will be surrounding winds and rains that may reach Panama City Beach.
No mandatory evacuations are anticipated for Panama City Beach or Santa Rosa Beach.
There are a few more possible storms brewing in the Atlantic, and we will continue to monitor those disturbances. If we feel there may be impact to Panama City Beach or Santa Rosa Beach, we will have further blog posts on those storms.
