Tropical Storm Debby continues her forward motion and increase her wind speed. She will become Hurricane Debby later in the day and is forecast to make landfall as a Category 1 or 2 early morning on Monday in the Big Bend region of Florida. Her forecasted path has again shifted a little to the east, but winds and rain are still expected in the Panama City Beach and Santa Rosa Beach areas. As the storm shifts to the east, the rain and wind anticipated may decrease, although Monday is still expected to be a wet and windy day.
Currently she is traveling at 13mph with 65mph wind speeds. Panama City Beach is anticipating 2-4 inches of rain and 20-30mph winds beginning on Sunday evening. As the storm shifts, this forecast could increase or decrease so we will keep a close eye on the storm and post updates with any significant information.
