Heading to the beach during your vacation should be relaxing and stress-free—so let’s make sure your beach chair setup is too! Whether your rental includes beach chairs or you’d like to purchase extras, here’s everything you need to know.
If Beach Chairs Are Included With Your Rental
When you arrive at your unit, we recommend heading to the beach as soon as possible to let the staff know you’re there. Simply provide your name and unit number, and they’ll add you to the list. They’ll then assign you to a specific set of chairs.
The earlier you arrive, the more choices you’ll have for location! If you love the chairs you’re assigned, you’re welcome to keep them throughout your stay. If you’d like a different spot, you can “swap up” by letting the staff know when another area becomes available.
Timing: Chairs are usually set up by 9:00 AM and may be taken down after 5:00 PM. In the case of bad weather, umbrellas or pads may be removed for everyone’s safety.
If Beach Chairs Are Not Included—or If You Want Extras
If your rental doesn’t include beach chairs—or if you’d like additional chairs—they can be purchased directly from the beach chair service when you arrive. Extra chairs can be set up alongside your complimentary condo chairs, though an additional fee applies.
You also have the option to purchase additional services in advance. This includes extra chairs and other activities offered by Coastal Parasail Adventures at Sea, the company that provides beach chair service. Calypso NO TENTS policy
Tents and large canopies must be set up behind or to the side of the beach service chairs. This rule is in place to keep the beach safe and enjoyable for everyone. Please note that violations of this policy are subject to fines and/or eviction by the Calypso HOA. Thank you for helping us keep the beach clear and accessible for all guests.
