Spending some quality time with your best friends should be top on your list of things to do. Creating unforgettable moments and memories is a bonding experience and time well spent together! And when I think of a girls weekend, the first thing that comes to my mind is sun, fun, wine, shopping, and exciting outings! The most important part of planning the weekend is to make sure the end result is to pamper yourself and your friends! Remember that the main purpose of the weekend is the time you spend together, so plan events that everyone will enjoy and take home memories that will last a lifetime!

Step One – Pick your destination and, for me, it’s hands down going to be someplace at the beach that offers so many things to do, so you have a lot of options to choose from. Panama City Beach is my first pick that offers everything your heart desires. Your experience would be even better if you can rent condos that are close together so you don’t have far to go to hang out! While looking for that special place to stay, be sure to check out Premium Beach Condos. You’ll see that we have several units, like 508 and 509 (sleeps up to 16) or 805 and 806 (sleeps up to 12), that are just next door to each other. We also have condos that are just one floor away or a quick hop on the elevator.
Step Two – Make some matching T-shirts that have some fun sayings put on them. You can make them all matching or you can mix them up. Make them with your group motto on them and with the year of your trip added. Put photos of other times you spent together with your names at the top of the photo. My girlfriends and I all have nicknames for each other, so you could put that on the t’s. Whatever you decide, it’s adds a little bit more fun to the trip! You can order anything you like from Etsy and have them made prior to your trip. Wear them during your travel so you’ll all be wearing them upon your arrival or pick one day specifically where you all wear them while you’re there. Either way, you’ll all look fabulous in your matching t’s!

Wine Tasting
Located on Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach Winery may be one of the most unique wineries you could visit. Panama City Beach Winery serves citrus wines that are manufactured in the state of Florida. They serve 43 different flavors of wine. Each flavor is unique and bursting with flavor. They offer complimentary wine tasting and with each wine tasting, you can taste eight different wines and one slushy. Wine tastings are available Monday to Saturday from 10 am until 4:30 pm. To learn more about this winery and view a list of the wines they offer, be sure to check out our blog on our website! While there, be sure to try one of their slushies! I don’t think there was a wine that I didn’t like when I had the pleasure of spending my afternoon there. They are amazing! Fun fact: Currently, they are the only Florida wine served at Disney World.
The second winery, Duplin Winery, is a muscadine winery that offers a $16 tasting menu and include a gourmet cheese dip, homemade gourmet crackers, and a glass of wine after the tasting has been completed. If you want to try a smaller sampling of Duplin wines, they suggest you Try a wine flight of four different Duplin wines of your choice for $20. Or choose a wine and cheese flight for $28. Now you know why I said that “transportation is a must!”
If you’d rather just relax in your condo and not go out for your wine tasting, you can always enjoy the view of the beautiful gulf from you own balcony in your room. Cosmo Nail Bar also does eyelash extensions, spray tans, massages, AND serves cocktails while you get your nails done! Nails So Happy offers hot stone massage and leg and eyebrow waxing in addition to nails!
Beach Therapy
A seaside escape is perfect for a girls getaway and a beach destination is a no-brainer for a fun girls trip. Panama City Beach has beautiful white sands that is among the whitest, cleanest and softest in the world! What you might not know, is that when you walk on the beaches in PCB, you are actually walking on the Appalachian Mountains.
The sand is made up mainly of 99% pure silica quartz washed down from the mountains by the Apalachicola River. The quartz is ground to a perfect oval in each grain of sand. It is so fine in texture, it literally “squeaks” under your toes as you walk!
Group Photo
And, last but not least, have a group photo taken so you will have “proof” of your trip (because people will NOT believe how much fun you had when you tell them about your trip) and a snapshot of all of your memories from your fabulous girls weekend!
