Recently, we upgraded the thermostats in several of our units. This upgrade is intended to help the HVAC system run in a more eco-friendly capacity and to provide better comfort for all of our guests. In order for the Ecobee thermostats to work to their fullest potential, we all need to keep all of the Ecobee monitoring components in good working order.
There are several monitors throughout the unit that help keep the HVAC system working properly. There are two sensors that monitor the temperature. One monitor will be located in the bedroom or main living area and the other inside the thermostat.
These two monitors track the temperature in these rooms and help the HVAC heat and cool the entire unit efficiently. They can be spotted in the unit, typically mounted in a corner or over a door frame, and must stay mounted in their places to monitor the temperature of the condo properly.
There are also sensors on each of the balcony doors in the unit that communicate with the thermostat to know when to turn off to avoid overworking the HVAC unit and keep the system running well for our guests.
This will increase the efficiency and performance of the HVAC system making your stay more comfortable. This can also help us to catch problems with the HVAC system early. The face of the thermostat will display a message if the unit is not cooling or heating properly and there may be a problem. An alert will also be sent directly to Premium Beach Condos so that we can view the problem, even when our guest is not in the unit. The goal of the upgraded thermostats is to help your stay be more comfortable with better heating and cooling and to help catch issues and act early to avoid discomfort.
The wonderful thing about these thermostats is that after they are set up, they do all of the work for us. The only thing we need from our guests is to allow the equipment to function normally. Unfortunately, since installation of the new thermostats we have had several guests tampering with the sensors and settings on the thermostat. We ask that you leave the sensors where they are, if there are any problems please contact us and we will work as quickly as possible to rectify the situation.
