As Hurricane Milton continues to head toward Florida at a destructive pace and speed, it’s path has narrowed and moved eastward leaving Panama City Beach and Santa Rosa Beach out of it’s direct path.
We do expect some wind gusts and possible rains over the next 48 hours, as spin offs from the storm. Please be advised if using beach umbrellas or tents that they could become airborne if not properly secured when wind gusts occur. Beach services may lower umbrellas during times of predicted surges. If you are using other umbrellas or tents, you are responsible for those items and any resulting issues. We discourage the use of tents, especially for this reason, at the beach.
As this record storm makes landfall on Wed/Thursday, it will cause catastrophic damage to the gulf coast of the panhandle. We are holding our neighbors in our hearts during this difficult time.
