It’s hard to believe that October is finally upon us! That means it’s time for my favorite season—spooky season!! Panama City Beach is a great place to be in October. There is so much fun to be had, from spooky haunts to family-friendly events. There is something for everyone!
Haunts
Are you looking for a good scare? There are some great haunts in the Panama City Beach area that are sure to give you a fright.
- Haunted Asylum at Hidden Lagoon: located at Hidden Lagoon Super Racetrack and Super Golf, this haunted house is open from October 3 until November 3rd. Enjoy a good fright and some mini golf on one of their two 18-hole mini golf courses. You can visit the haunted house from 6:30 pm until 11 pm.
- Fear at the Pier: this attraction is located in Pier Park and is open year-round! With time slots from 11 am until 10:30 pm you can have fun all day long! You can even purchase a combo ticket to enjoy the escape room and axe throwing as well.
- Haunted Mansion at Race City: located in Race City on Front Beach Rd, this haunt is sure to impress. Open beginning in October, it features a haunted house along with many fun rides and attractions. With everything from mini golf to the arcade to thrill rides, you’re sure to have a frightfully good time! To check haunt hours visit this website.
- Mr. Creepies’ Demented Labyrinth: located in Swampy Jack’s Wongo Adventure, this haunted attraction combines two terrifying haunts into one. Start out on their haunted trail and wind your way through to Mr. Creepies’ Demented Labyrinth. This haunt is open from 7 pm until 11 pm throughout October.
Family Fun
- Ghostly Gathering: this special event will be held at Gulf World on October 25th and 26th from 5 pm to 8 pm. Enjoy a haunted house, games, food trucks, music, and more! For more information or to purchase tickets visit their website.
- Trick or Treating at the Library: spend your Halloween trick or treating at the library and show off your costumes! Trick or Treating will be from 10 am until 7 pm on Halloween at the Panama City Beach library.
- Pumpkin Patch at Camp Helen State Park: from 9 am until 4 pm every day in October Camp Helen State Park sells pumpkins at their pumpkin patch!
- Pumpkin Painting Party: there’s fun to be had for the whole family at Neon’s Beach Shack for their pumpkin painting party! On October 13th from 1 pm to 4 pm there will be crafts, games, and movies. Don’t forget to wear your costume!
