October is National Pizza Month so it seems appropriate to highlight our 5 favorite Pizza Joints in Panama City Beach. Now to be fair, we had SO MANY to choose from, so we tried to focus on our favorites.
In this post, we didn’t rank these 5. They’re all good, so we suggest that you try them all! Of course, this might require that you return to Panama City Beach several times, but we’re OK with that.
So…in no particular order….
Great White Pizza
Great White Pizza is on the south side of Pier Park, near the entrance closest to Calypso. They specialize in fire-roasted pizza with all-natural ingredients. Of course you can always select your own style and toppings for either dish. They have Calzones too!
But Great White has one unique offering that most other restaurants don’t have… Great White offers vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free options for all of their pizzas. But unlike so many other restaurants that advertise these options, Great White prepares these items in a separate area to avoid cross-contamination, a serious issue for those with allergies. They even offer specialty cookies for dessert – the gluten-free ones are especially tasty! For more information, check out their website.
Marco’s
Marco’s may be a chain, but they have perfected the art of pizza-making. From the robust flavors of their signature sauce to the generous toppings on each slice, it’s hard to beat Marco’s. Their “build your own” option offers multiple toppings for the same price as just two…so knock yourself out and double the fun and flavor! Place your order HERE!
Nick’s Slice of Brooklyn Pizzeria & Bar
Nick’s is popular for guests looking for a slice of NY-style pizza with a side of beer. As Nick says on the website: “If you do not like it, you can throw it in my face!” You can order whole pizzas or pizza by the slice, or try one of their Stromboli’s! Nick’s is located right at the corner of Front Beach and Middle Beach Roads.
Teddy’s Spaghetti and Pizza
Teddy’s has a variety of specialty pizzas. Two great choices are the TACO PIZZA and the BANANAS FOSTER PIZZA. This is the only pizzeria we found so far that offers a DESSERT pizza! We’re still on the hunt for a breakfast pizza…but maybe they will come through for that as well.
