Let’s face it, no one wants to spend hours in the kitchen when they are on their dream vacation, while everyone else is lounging poolside or on the beach. Eating out can also be very expensive. Imagine whipping up an easy meal for your family that requires little effort, that will bring everyone together, and everyone will love to be a part of. A plus? No one can complain because they made it themselves!
Let’s have a “make your own pizza” party. Here’s what you’ll need to throw this together in no time:
- Different options for the crust such as mini pizza crusts, naan bread, flatbread, tortilla shells or french bread.
- Different options for the sauce such as pizza sauce, basil pesto sauce, BBQ sauce, alfredo sauce or even taco sauce.
- Lots of different toppings. Make sure to grab everyone’s favorites like pepperoni, pre-cooked sausage pieces, pre-cooked taco meat, ham or canadian bacon, chicken, and lots of veggies and fruits (you could even throw together a dessert pizza).
- Pizza Seasoning. You can use assorted fresh herbs or just pick a bottle of “Pizza Seasoning” in the spice section.
- And, cheese……..be sure to have lots of wonderful cheeses to choose from.
Set everything out buffet style starting with the crust, then the sauces, followed by the toppings and finally…the cheeses to top it all off, Have everyone form an assembly line and go to town making their old favorites or even trying something totally new.
The possibilities are endless and everyone will have so much fun making, eating, and sharing their own creations.
