Important Update: Calypso Resort Goes Smoke-Free starting Jan 1, 2024
Big news for all our guests planning a stay at Calypso Resort in Panama City Beach! Starting January 1, 2024, the Calypso Resort is making a bold move – the entire Calypso campus, including balconies and common areas, will be completely smoke-free.
Now, let’s clarify what “smoking” means: it’s inhaling, exhaling, burning, or carrying any lit or heated cigar, cigarette, pipe, or any similar product containing or made from nicotine, tobacco, marijuana, or any plant – natural or synthetic – intended for inhalation. That also covers activated electronic smoking devices. Yep, those e-cigarettes, e-cigars, e-pipes, vape pens, Juuls, e-hookahs, or anything else delivering nicotine or other substances for inhalation.
Here’s the deal: while some condo owners might allow smoking inside their units, smoking anywhere else on the premises will be a no-go. No exceptions. In order to smoke inside a unit, you must specifically rent a smoking-allowed unit. Premium Beach Condos does NOT allow smoking in any of our properties.
There will NOT be any smoking locations on the property – if you need to light-up, you will need to leave the property completely.
And here’s the bad news: guests who break this rule risk getting the boot. Yep, if you light up where you shouldn’t, you might find yourself evicted from the resort.
Calypso is making this change to create a healthier and more enjoyable environment for everyone. When it comes to all outdoor and shared spaces, it’s a strict no-smoking zone. They want every guest to have an awesome, smoke-free experience at Calypso. So, if you’re planning to stay at the Calypso resort, please respect the rules. It’s all about making sure everyone can relax and enjoy their vacation without the hassle of secondhand smoke.
