Guest Post:
There are many competing priorities in life that distract us on a daily basis — days, weeks, and years pass in a blink of an eye. My husband, Rick, and I took our first vacation together without our children, staying at Premium Beach Condos in Panama City Beach, FL. Prior to leaving, we wondered what the trip was going to be like with just the two of us, because have always prioritized traveling with family.
However, with that being said, Rick and I found a slice of heaven in Panama City Beach during our vacation. Our luck started when we arrived at the airport. We bought economy airfare tickets, but we were pleasantly offered upgraded seats. We ordered an economy rental car, but then received an offer for a Mustang convertible. Our check-in time at Premium Beach Condos was 4 p.m., but we got an early check-in time, too! Everything was definitely going our way.
Our Calypso condo unit exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness, fully stocked kitchen, supplies and appliances, breathtaking patio view, heated pool, building amenities, and close proximity to Pier Park . Each morning, we sat and enjoyed several cups of coffee looking out at the ocean before exploring to see what Panama City Beach had to offer.
During our stay, we ate at Hook’d , J. Michael’s , and Oishi to get our fill of seafood. We also grabbed some food at Moe’s Original BBQ and Chicken Salad Chick , which were both absolutely delicious and within walking distance from the Calypso Resort. Our ritual end of the day stop was Kilwin’s for a sweet treat.
The local activities were endless with many options for entertainment, so we had to make difficult decisions as how to fill our days. Traveling from Minnesota, we seized every opportunity to walk outside to our destinations (we wanted to take full advantage of the sunny mid-upper 60’s weather!).
We walked up and down the shore collecting seashells, walked to Pier Park , and went to restaurants, movies, shops, and local park reserves. Rick even spent a perfect sunny day on the Jubilee boat deep sea fishing . He successfully caught 9 fish, which we had for dinner at J. Michael’s (You Hook ‘Em, We Cook ‘Em)! After, we walked to Russell-Fields Pier and watched the sun set. Night after night, we watched the glorious sunset, feeling thankful for the special time we shared with each other.
Words cannot express Jenny’s extraordinary customer service! From the moment we arrived until the day of departure, she consistently made herself available for anything we needed. She was attentive and courteous, and it was evident that her primary goal was the satisfaction of her guests. We would most certainly book with her in the future, and we’re confident that she would deliver the same level of customer service every time.
Thank you for making our 25-year wedding anniversary so memorable.
Sincerely,
Tonya and Rick
