Thanksgiving is Better at the Beach

There’s no doubt about it: holidays are better at the beach. Rest and relaxation are two of the most important parts of the holiday season. If you have the time off work, you should enjoy it as much as you can. That’s why at Premium Beach Condos, we recommend taking your much-needed vacation over the holiday season.

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, and Panama City Beach is gearing up for a festive celebration. If you’re planning on enjoying the world’s most beautiful beaches during the holiday, here are a few places to go during your Thanksgiving stay, both for your feast and for pure entertainment.

Restaurants

Sharky’s Beach Front Restaurant

Sharky’s is a must-visit restaurant during any time of the year – it has a beachfront view, with the restaurant sitting directly on the sand. This top-notch restaurant is serving a Thanksgiving buffet with all of the traditional favorites: roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, casseroles, and pumpkin, pecan, and apple pies. But it wouldn’t be Panama City Beach without a touch of seafood, so if you’re in the mood, Sharky’s is also serving crab legs, fried fish, crab cakes, and a shrimp and sausage pasta. See their full menu on their website.

Patches Pub and Grill

We’ve spoken about Patches before on our blog, but it deserves a second mention for Thanksgiving. You can enjoy live music, stellar food (try their pizza, it’s a must), and a fun atmosphere for the holiday season. Patches is located on the East end of the beach, only a few blocks from Holiday House.

Special Events

Campfires and S’mores

Santa’s Village is hosting a campfires and s’mores evening on Nov. 24-25. Celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with the whole family, and end the evening with a beautiful fireworks show. The event is taking place in Aaron Bessant Park, right next to Pier Park on the West end of the beach.

Christmas Tree Lighting

After your stomach settles from your Thanksgiving feast, join the rest of the city in a beautiful Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 24 alongside the Panama City POPS Orchestra.

Relax Poolside with the Family

There’s no better way to spend the Thanksgiving holiday than with your friends and family. If you’re taking a holiday vacation to Panama City Beach, make sure you dedicate time to your family (preferably poolside!) and tell them you’re thankful for them, too.

The holiday season is the perfect time to get away and relax by the beach. If you’re interested in staying with us for your Thanksgiving weekend, contact us or give us a call at 614-439-7691!
