In Florida, the rain usually rolls through pretty quickly. Your beautiful, sun-filled vacation is only briefly interrupted before returning to its regularly scheduled weather conditions. However, life doesn’t always go according to plan. For those days where the rain just won’t quit, here are a few fun ways you can occupy your time in Panama City Beach.
Emerald Coast Mirror Maze
During family trips, it’s important to entertain the younger ones of the group in order to maintain everyone’s sanity. However, that doesn’t have to mean little kid things that adults can’t enjoy too.
The Emerald Coast Mirror Maze is located in Pier Park and is perfect for every member of the family. The facility includes the classic laser tag, a laser challenge, and a mirror maze spanning over 2,300 square feet. Sheltered indoors from the weather, it’s perfect for parties or just a family night out.
WonderWorks
WonderWorks is a fabulous, hands-on activity center for guests of all ages. Featuring over 100 interactive exhibits, the park allows visitors to explore their six wonder zones: Natural Disasters, Physical Challenges, Light and Sound, Space Discovery, the Imagination Lab, and the Far Out Art Gallery. There is something to peak everyone’s interests and will keep you busy during those off weather days.

Believe it or not, you’ll see a handful of things that will cause you to question what you see with your own eyes. Ripley’s Believe It or Not is an amusement park dedicated to events and items that you won’t find anywhere else. The park features four separate attractions: the Odditorium (pun intended), a 7D moving theater, a mirror maze, and a laser race. Keeping kids occupied at Ripley’s can be effortless, the illusions peaking their interest every step of the way.

Rainy weather doesn’t care which day of the week it is, and neither does Rock It Lanes. They are open seven days per week beginning at 11:00AM each day.

Cozy Night In
This is the ultimate rainy day activity, no matter where you are. Thankfully, the condo itself doesn’t change dependent on sunshine or rainbows. There are plenty of things you can do without even leaving the unit including games, TV streaming, and puzzles. Log into your streaming accounts, curl up with a comfy blanket, and start a new show or rerun one of your favorites.
My favorite thing to do on a rainy day is to learn or teach someone else a new game. Whether that’s a card game using a regular deck of cards, or pulling out a board game you’ve never heard of, you can always find a way to try a new game and you’ll laugh with your loved ones along the way.
Of course, Panama City Beach is named after it’s beautiful beaches, but that doesn’t mean that’s all the city has to offer. When rainy days interrupt your vacation, don’t fret. There are plenty of alternatives in Panama City Beach for you to explore and enjoy.
